Three Techniques to Lift a Sagging Neck

Danielle Collins recommends three techniques that you can incorporate into your daily routine to help firm and tone your neck area naturally.

Technique 1: Head Turn and Chin Lift

Start by turning your head to the side, tilting your chin up slightly, and extending your tongue. Curl your tongue towards the direction of your nose and hold this position for a count of 20. Then, repeat on the other side.

Technique 2: Wings and Head Movement

Extend your arms behind you, resembling “big wings,” and gently move your head from side to side. This not only helps lift the neck but also corrects posture, especially if you spend extended periods using phones or computers. Poor posture can lead to lines, bloating, and sagging in the neck and chin area.

Technique 3: Collarbone Engagement

Place your fingers on your collarbone, tilt your head slightly back, and push out your bottom lip. This action engages the platysma, a superficial neck muscle. Hold this position for a moment and then release after about four breaths.
