Jennifer Lopez is a massive star known for her Hollywood and music career, but in recent years she has become famous for her seemingly age-defying appearance.

The singer-turned-actress recently posted a new photoshoot on her social media in a revealing black glittering waistcoat, which simply features two pieces of black fabric covering her bare best while it flows down to the floor.

Jennifer’s fans have been stunned by the photos, with many rushing to compliment her looks as, despite being 54 years old, Jlo appears to look 20 years younger and could pass for someone in their thirties.

One enthusiastic fan wrote: “Is it possible to become more beautiful as you age?” while another person commented: “Aging like fine wine! [JLO is] drop-dead gorgeous!”

However, someone close to Jlo has now revealed her secret behind looking younger, as fitness trailer Dodd Romeo has explained that the singer works extremely hard at a strict fitness regime to have her stunning physique.

In an interview with Oprah Magazine, the trainer said that Jennifer has an intense workout, training her body between one hour to four hours a day, and does this regime around four to five times a week.

It has been reported by other publications that Jlo focuses on a different body part in each fitness session particularly focused on three main muscle groups biceps, back and ‘booty’ which have been nicknamed “the three Bs” by Women’s Health Magazine.

While working out, it is said that Jlo will do 50 hanging ab rises, 50 rope crunches and 50 incline sit-ups with a 45-pound plate.

She will then repeat the set but then lower it to 35 reps before winding down further by doing another 21.

However, Jlo has been known to try out a variety of workouts to enjoy different ways of keeping fit, such as cross-fit training, lifting weights, and dancing.

Johanna Sapakie, a dancer and choreographer who trained Jlo for four months has explained that Jlo became a huge fan of pole dancing during her workouts while training for the movie role Hustlers in 2019 and then her Superbowl performance with Shakira in 2020

In an interview with Women’s Health, Johanna explained that Jlo very much enjoyed that using a pole helped work “a different muscle group.”

Johanna said: “Everything is working in unison to create the movement. If your body works as a total package, you’re much more likely to be successful than if you rely on just one muscle group.

“If you have a really strong core, your core will help support the rest of your body, so your arms will simply have to do less work.”

Johanna added that Jlo looked incredible at the time due to the amount of work she was putting into her performance. She said: “Without even going to the gym, our bodies were banging because we were doing the activity for 12 hours a day.”

While Jlo is a very hard worker, another celebrity trainer, David Kirsch, has revealed that getting plenty of sleep has also helped the singer keep looking amazing.

In an interview with Vogue, David said: “Jennifer is meticulous about her eating, sleeping and generally about everything in her life. It’s not just a physical thing – it’s about transforming every aspect of your life.”

He added: “The common denominator is always sleep. Resting and restoring is so important for your recovery and overall wellness.”
