Keefe D’s Court Appearance in Tupac Shakur Murder Case

Duane “Keefe D” Davis, the man arrested for allegedly killing Tupac Shakur, is set to appear in court to face a murder charge in the nearly 30-year-old case.

Court Date Scheduled

The 60-year-old suspect is scheduled to appear at Clark County Court in Vegas around 9 AM on Thursday. He will stand before Judge Tierra D. Jones for his arraignment.

Previous Delay

He previously appeared in court two weeks ago, but his lawyer failed to show up. As a result, his arraignment was postponed to Thursday.

Expected Plea

Clark County D.A. Steve Wolfson announced in a press conference after the initial hearing that Keefe D is expected to plead not guilty to the murder charge, which includes the use of a deadly weapon, in relation to Tupac’s 1996 shooting.

Arrest and Gang Enhancement

Keefe D was arrested at the end of September. In addition to the murder charge, he also faces a gang enhancement.

Body Cam Footage

TMZ obtained body cam footage from his arrest, showing law enforcement approaching him on a residential street during the arrest. Keefe D appeared cooperative throughout the arrest.

Case Reopened

The case was reopened 27 years after Tupac’s murder due to Keefe’s outspoken interviews, where he discussed his involvement in the rapper’s death.
